This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use ReverseVideoSearch.io.

2) What this service does

ReverseVideoSearch.io is a tool that helps you extract still frames from your own videos and run reverse image searches. We do not publicly host user content. For paid automation, frames may be processed briefly on our backend so we can perform the automated search, then they are deleted.

3) Personal data we process

We try to keep collection minimal and purpose bound.

Content you submit for automation: Frames or screenshots that you choose to process in the paid Automatic search. These are handled only to deliver the feature, deduplicate frames, and return results.
Payment and billing data: Payments are handled by an external payment provider. We receive only what is necessary for billing and support, for example your email and payment status. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Support and communications: Emails or messages you send to us, plus any attachments you choose to include.
Account data: Accounts are not available at launch. If we introduce accounts later, typical data would include your email and basic profile used for access control.
Technical data: We design the service so that application logs do not store your IP address. Some infrastructure providers may create transient logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not control those provider log retention periods.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers at launch.

4) Why we process data and our legal bases

Provide the service and fulfill a contract: Process the frames you submit in Automatic search, provide paid features, handle payments, provide support.
Legitimate interests: Protect security, detect abuse, maintain and improve the service, respond to your messages.
Legal obligations: Keep the minimal billing and accounting records required by Czech and EU law.
Consent: Only if we ever introduce non-essential cookies or analytics. We do not load them without your prior consent.

5) Cookies and local storage

At launch we use only what is strictly necessary for core functionality. If we later add analytics or similar technologies we will ask for your consent first and we will provide clear options to withdraw consent at any time.

6) Where we process data and transfers

We aim to keep processing in the EU. Some providers may process data outside the EEA. When that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not name vendors in this policy. We describe them by category, for example hosting, payment processing, or automation.

7) Retention

Automation artifacts: Frames and related temporary artifacts are deleted after the automation completes. If a deletion job fails and needs a retry, we purge within a short grace window. In any case we do not keep automation artifacts longer than 30 days.
Results: We do not store your reverse search results beyond what is needed to deliver them back to you.
Support messages: Retained for up to 24 months for continuity of support, then deleted or anonymized.
Billing and accounting records: Kept for the periods required by applicable law. This may include multi-year retention to meet accounting and tax duties.
Technical logs: We design application logs so they do not store user IP addresses. Infrastructure level logs may exist at providers for security. We do not keep separate copies.

8) Security

We use transport encryption, short lived signed access for any proxy features, access controls with least privilege, and scheduled deletion routines for temporary media. No persistent media storage is used for user frames that you submit for automation.

9) Children and sensitive content

The service is intended for users 15 years and older. Do not use the service if you are under 15. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. We prohibit illegal content including child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery. We do not publicly host user content.

10) Your rights

Subject to legal limits you can:

access your personal data
request correction or deletion
request restriction or object to processing
request a portable copy of your data
withdraw consent at any time if we rely on consent

11) Acting for others

If you upload or process content that includes personal data of other people you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. You must not use the service to violate rights or laws.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service or the law. We will post the new version with a new effective date. If changes are material we will provide a reasonable advance notice on the site or by email when available.
